Discover the mechanical science that makes this surreal robot move in funny and weird ways. It has long range LED eyes and moving hands!
HOW IT WORKS: The circuit you created, by connecting the battery compartment to the gearbox and the robot head, allows the smooth flow of electricity when the battery is switched on. The "ON" switch activates the circuit and allows electricity to flow into the gearbox and the robot's eyes, giving life to the Crazy Robot! This is because a battery always has two poles, one positive and one negative. At the positive pole, there are very few electrons, while there are many electrons at the negative pole. If the positive and negative poles are connected, the electrons move to correct the imbalance, creating an electric current. The robot's head and gearbox can then convert energy from electricity into motion and light.
